Dimapur, Dec. 16: Jacob Zhimomi, Parliamentary Secretary for Irrigation and Flood Control graced the day three-Dimapur Night Carnival 2016 as the special guest who termed such festivity a step towards development.
“It is our city and we need to develop our city with self reliant as the State does not have industries and commerce” asserted Zhimomi. What we have are local products and such festivity is for the benefit for our people which also provides platform for young artists.
Through such activity and venture, the local entrepreneurs can pave way for development of our State through their contributions maintained the legislator. There is security in music and art observed Zhimomi and he also called on Dimapurians to maintain peace and tranquillity as pace loving citizens.
The third day of Dimapur Night Carnival was marked by music, dance and fashion show with models displaying creations of Designer Naga Theja Sekhose.
Lucky no.000950 was declared the winner of the third day’s raffle draw picked by Zhimomi at the venue.
