Dimapur, April 15 (EMN): Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima organised its Annual Flower Show on April 13. The event is held every year with an aim to keep children close to nature and foster their aesthetic value.

Students from class III to XII converted the entire school into a mesmerising garden filled with colours during the flower show, informed Dr. Fr. P. Suresh, principal of Don Bosco College.

Watila Longkumer, proprietor of Naro Ki and Partner North Bengal Floritech, Siliguri, who inaugurated the annual event, told the students to work hard for the dreams they are passionate about and inculcate the habit of consistency and hard work.

There was competition in nine categories namely: Fresh Cutting Flower and Dry Flower Arrangements, Potted Flowers, Potted Evergreen, Cactus, Succulents, Bonsai, Orchids, and Fruits Carving during the flower show, for which local florists were brought in to choose the winners.

Certificates and mementos were given away to the winners of different categories of the annual flower show.
