It is Christmas season. It is time to plan, play and participate but less time to gossip. It is time to enjoy and be happy but less time to worry about the final Settlement. It is time to exchange greetings and shake hands between foes and friends. It is time to smile but less time to scream and curse. It is also time to once again listen to the quite but powerful voice that says… “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of Great Joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David, a Saviour has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11). It is indeed Christmas time and why not, can’t we not share the good news of Great Joy of Christmas with other friends and neighbours, instead of hiding it under our sleeves in keeping us warm to ourselves only. Others also are equally in need of hearing this good news. It is a festival where everyone must join and share. We can make this festival meaningful by genuinely manifesting the characters of Love, Joy and Forgiveness of Christ through our lives.
