Smartphone maker, iQOO, on Thursday announced the launch date of its latest device, the iQOO 9T. The company is launching the iQOO 9T 5G in India on August 2.

The news of the launch date was first seen on Amazon's website after the e-commerce giant put up a listing of the device on its store.

As seen on the listing, the new iQOO 9T 5G will feature the iconic BMW Motorsport-inspired three colour stripes on the back panel. We previously saw this on the iQOO 8 and iQOO 9 series of smartphones. The ad also revealed that the iQOO 9T will come with a triple rear camera setup.

Later, the company took to Twitter to officially confirm the launch date of the iQOO 9T in India.

In a series of tweets, the company revealed that the new device will be powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The company also said that the iQOO 9T will use Vivo's V1+ imaging chip, as seen on the recently launched Vivo X80 Pro.

The company has not announced the official specifications apart from the processor, however, multiple reports say that the iQOO 9T will feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz E5 AMOLED display and a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the device's triple camera system is expected to feature a 50MP Samsung GN5 main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. The main camera is rumoured to come with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The front camera is expected to be a 16MP snapper.

The iQOO 9T will have a starting price of INR 49,990 for its baseline 8GB RAM and 128GB version and go up to INR 54,990 for the larger 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
