International Ride MTB Day observed in Imphal East

IMPHAL — The Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association (MAAMBA) observed International Ride MTB Day on Sunday at the foothills of Heingang Marjing Kachin in Imphal East district, Manipur.

The day-long affair featured talent hunt programmes across women’s, children’s, and men’s elite categories, culminating in a downhill showdown.

Nearly 100 mountain biking enthusiasts from various parts of the state, including both professionals and hobbyists, gathered together.

In the children’s category, riders Nganba and Mangal emerged as standout performers, while in the women’s category, Urbashi, Basanti, and Leina claimed the top three positions, respectively.

All elite male riders and downhill participants were honoured with finishers’ mementos in recognition of their dedication and performance.
