Dimapur, December 1: The tenth edition of the International Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship 2016 will be held from December 7 at the Amphitheatre in Kisama Naga Heritage Village.
The event will be launched by Timikha Koza, the president of the Tenyimia Peoples Organization as the Chief Guest informed a press note from the Nagaland Wrestling Association appended by its secretary, Vekhozo.
It stated that the prize money for the winner and the runners-up will be Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 50,000.
The losing semi-finalists will receive a cash award of Rs. 20000 each, the losing quarter finalists Rs. 5000 each and the losing pre-quarter finalists Rs. 2000 each. It further informed that the any interested wrestlers from the state and also from outside can register for the competition till December 7.
