The 4th Kohima Town Inter-Ward tournament 2016 will commence on Monday at 11am at local ground, Kohima.
The tournament will be officially inaugurated by Vikheho Swu, Minister for Road and Bridges as the chief guest. Dr.Nicky Kire, Minister for Forest, wildlife and climate will also give a short speech.
The program will be compere by Xavier Rutsa, invocation prayer by Dr. Keny Tsela, Pastor Rengma Baptist Church, Kohima, welcome address by Zotuo Kire, President , NPF 9th Kohima Town A/C , speech number by Ms. Sulivi Assumi, oath taking and introduction of players.
The tournament is played under the theme “Unity and Friendship through Sports and Music, organized by NPF 9th Kohima Town A/C.
On Monday at 12.00noon , the first match will be played between Ward 14 and Ward 2 and the second match at 1.40 pm Ward 17 taking on Ward No 8 for men’s football.
In women’s volleyball matches on day one , Ward 19 will play with Ward 9 in first match , Ward 16 to meet Ward 13 in second match, Ward 2 taking on Ward 10 in third match and in the fourth match Ward 11 will lock horn with Ward 7.
