Inter-ward football tournament kicks off in Peren

Oct. 9.[/caption] Dimapur, Oct. 9 (EMN): The 13th inter-ward football tournament organised by the Peren Town Youth Organisation (PTYO) kicked off on Tue. Oct. 9, at Peren town local ground. The programme was attended by Keyirangding Hegui, Project Director (PD), DRDA Phek as the chief guest. Addressing the audience with a quotation from 1st Corinthians 24:25, the chief guest encouraged the players saying that “you are the back bone of our society” to possess self control and discipline, to play with game and team spirit in order to win. And also to initiate good spirit in everything we do, so that we can experience heaven on earth. He concluded with a statement “Let us strive forward with a progressing mindset for a better and prosperous Peren.
