DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 9: The Mangkolemba Sub-Division Inter-Range Volleyball Tournament concluded at Mangkolemba on November 4 with Japukong Youth Organization (JYO) ‘B’ emerging as the champions.
The tournament has been organised by Mangkolemba Ao Lanur Telongjem in commemoration of ADC Headquarter Silver Jubilee Celebration.
In the final, the JYO’B’ defeated Luyong Village Council (LVC) team in straight set. The champion and the runner’s up to teams were awarded a cash of Rs 30,000 and 20,000 each along with a trophy, certificates.
Moatemjen of ADC team was adjudged the Player of the Tournament. Best Setter and best spiker awards were bagged by Toshiyanger of JYO ‘B’ and Limatanget of LVC.
In the closing ceremony programme, Executive Engineer of National Highway of Mokokchung division, Chubatoshi graced the programme as the special guest.
