Dimapur, Sep. 1 (EMN): The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home department has informed that in view of the unprecedented monsoon disaster that struck Nagaland, an inter-ministerial central team will be visiting the state from Sep. 4 to 7.
According to DIPR update, the team will carry out ‘on-the-spot-assessment’ of the disaster caused by landslides and floods.
The team will be headed by KB Singh, joint secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The NSDMA along with the district disaster management authorities and officials from all the line departments will take the team to the worst affected areas for assessment.
