Kohima, July 30 (EMN): The 42nd Inter-district and State Open Badminton Championship under the aegis of Nagaland Badminton Association will begin from August 7 till the 10th at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, Pfutsero under Phek district presented by Yonex-Sunrise.
The championship will be hosted by Phek District Badminton Association and Phek Deputy Commissioner Orenthung Lotha as the chief host.
The event partners includes: Yonex, Kalos, Life Sports, Eastern Mirror, Artworks and Innovations.
Minister for planning and coordination and land revenue Neiba Kronu and youth resources & sports advisor Zale Neikha will be the chief host and chief patron at the inaugural function on August 7.
