Inter-departmental tournament underway in Zunheboto

Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): The 8th Inter-Departmental Tournament got underway in Zunheboto on Tue. Oct. 23 at the DSCZ indoor stadium, in Zunheboto. According to an update from the DPRO Zunheboto, the inaugural function was attended by Nitovi Assumi, Secretary Sumi Hoho as the special guest. During the inaugural programme, sports persons from Zunheboto district were felicitated for bringing laurels to the state and the district. The oath taking was administered by Hetoho S. Zhimomi, member DSCZ. All together 37 departments from Zunheboto district are participating in the three-day tournament in three disciplines; badminton, carom and table tennis. The tournament will culminate on Oct. 25.
