Inter-departmental sports meet concludes

Dimapur, October 30: The department of Geology & Mining emerged as the overall champion at the 2nd Dimapur District Inter-Departmental Sports Meet 2016 that concluded at MDSC, Dimapur on Saturday, while Prison department and DRDA bagged the 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.Commissioner of Police, Liremo Lotha IPS attended the program as chief guest of the closing ceremony. Addressing the gathering, Commissioner viewed that such meet would rejuvenate the working relationships and foster coordination and friendship among the employees of different departments. He said that the government servants who are posted in Dimapur, which is the commercial hub of the State, are the privileged ones. He therefore called the gathering to discharge their duties sincerely in a diligent manner.
