Inter-college dialogue held at Dimapur Government College

DIMAPUR — The Philosophy department of Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) and Dimapur Government College (DGC) jointly organised an inter-college dialogue on Thursday at the latter’s auditorium on the theme "Bridging minds, building meaning."

An update from DGC stated that the faculty members and students of the department from both the colleges had an engaging and fruitful dialogue on two topics namely 'Students in the age of technology and AI’ and ‘The relevance of philosophy today."

It stated that the dialogue touched on aspects such as ‘How technology and AI are changing educational landscape.’ ‘Benefits of technology and associated challenges,’ ‘How philosophy helps in engaging with issues critically’ and the ‘Need to understand and engage with philosophy at the roots in order to make philosophy more meaningful.’
