DIMAPUR — The Khiamniungan elders from Noklak witnessed static and CFF (combat freefall) jumps at Army Airborne Training School, Agra, as part of a national integration tour organised by the Assam Rifles.

According to a press release, during the event, paratroopers performed daring feats with an AN-32 aircraft dropping daredevils from 12,050 feet. The participants learned the importance of wind speed during the fall, with drifters gauging the dropping zone.

Around 200 paratroopers demonstrated their abilities by jumping from the aircraft.

Meanwhile, another national integration tour, which began in Kohima, reached the Kumaon and Naga Regimental Centre in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, on Friday.

The group visited the view point at Kumaon and Naga Regimental Centre, as well as the Jhulla Devi Temple and the surroundings of the city. The release noted that participants also witnessed the rigorous training of the cadets at the centre.
