- DIMAPUR — The
Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs has released INR 37 crore for payment of Post
Matric Scholarship to ST students of Nagaland.
- An update from PRO Nagaland House, New Delhi, stated that
the directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, on March 28,
informed that the scheme implementing agency will soon disburse the scholarship
into the beneficiaries’ accounts after completing the necessary formalities.
- “The scheme implementing agency has acknowledged the efforts
of Minister of Higher Education and Tourism, Government of Nagaland, for his
proactive and all-out effort in coordinating with the funding ministry for the
release of Post Matric Scholarship.
- “The agency also expressed their gratitude to the Union
Minister of Tribal Affairs and the Ministry officials for ensuring timely
release of the sanction order,” it stated.
