INR 36 lakh revenue through ILP during 2024-25 — Deputy CM Patton
The revenue generated from ILP, both from online and offline modes, till date during the financial year 2024-2025 is INR 36,05,255, Patton informed.
- KOHIMA — Deputy
Chief Minister and in charge of Home and Border Affairs, Yanthungo Patton, on
Tuesday disclosed that INR 36 lakh revenue has been generated through issuance
of Inner Line Permit (ILP) during the Financial Year 2024-25.
- The deputy CM was replying to a starred question raised by
NPF MLA Achumbemo Kikon on the second day of the ongoing 14th NLA.
- The revenue generated from ILP, both from online and offline
modes, till date during the financial year 2024-2025 is INR 36,05,255, Patton
informed.
- The ILP is implemented under the powers conferred by Section
2 of Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation, 1873. The implementing authorities of
ILP are the deputy commissioners of the districts.
- Regular inspection is carried out by the district administration
along with the police to check the ILP status of individuals.
- Persons found with expired ILPs are served a notice and are
directed to renew them. In certain instances, repeated ILP defaulters are
escorted out of the state, the minister added.
