
Students of Patkai Christian College are seen attending an outreach programmes conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, on January 30.
DIMAPUR — As part of capacity-building measure for Agniveer aspirants, the office of Army Recruitment Officer, Rangpahar, in coordination with Patkai Christian Collega and ICFAI University, conducted an outreach programmes on January 30 and 31.
A defence release stated that the outreach programme was attended by approximately over 205 eligible students including 135 boys and 70 girls.
The sessions covered importance of Agnipath scheme of recruitment, its advantages, opportunities and clarifications of queries.
Modalities of officer entry schemes at National Defence Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS), Territorial Army (TA) and Service Selection Board (SSB) interview were elaborated.
It added that the aspirants were briefed about the eligibility criteria, application procedures and selection processes for each scheme. Besides, they were also explained about the organisation of army and types of arms and services.
Handouts, posters, pamphlets and other publicity materials were also distributed to the participants.
Online registration for Agniveer CEE
The additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Kohima has issued a notification regarding a letter received from the Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, stating that the Indian army has announced the opening of online registration for the common entrance exam (CEE) under the Agnipath scheme, specifically for unmarried male candidates from Nagaland. The exam is tentatively scheduled to commence in February 2025. Eligible candidates are required to register online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
