Indian Army held a seven-day equine training course in Dimapur for veterinary students from Jalukie.

DIMAPUR — The Spear Corps of the Indian Army conducted a seven-day ‘Equine Training Course’ for final-year veterinary graduates of the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, at Rangapahar Military Station, Dimapur, from September 15 to the 21st.
According to a press release, the training was organised by the Army Veterinary Hospital and focused on equine husbandry, medicine, surgery, and management. It was aimed at transferring knowledge and practical skills to benefit budding veterinarians.
An ‘Equine Training Manual’ covering aspects of equine management, husbandry, and therapeutics was unveiled during the valedictory function and presented to the students, along with a ‘Certificate of Course’ for future reference.
It said that Prof. Dr. A Palanisami of the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, lauded the efforts of the Army veterinarians in organising the training.
