Mokokchung, April 1 (EMN): The Independent party of 24 Angetyongpang AC extended a helping hand to the district administration of Mokokchung by providing an ambulance to be used during the combat against the spread of the highly infectious Covid-19.
Angetyongpang AC is represented by incumbent minister of PWD (Mechanical and Housing) Tongpang Ozukum. The party officially handed over the ambulance in the presence of deputy commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, CMO Dr. Chubala and other officials at the DC office complex.
The ambulance will be returned to the Angetyongpang AC after the pandemic crises is eradicated, said the party officials.
Apart from extending help to the district administration, the party also distributed a total of 4550 facemasks and 205 litres of hand sanitiser at 23 places under Angetyongpang AC jurisdiction. The party workers also provided the safety kits to its neighbouring constituencies that included Chuchuyimlang, Yisemyong, Sungarstu, Mokokchung village and Ungma.
