KOHIMA — An ‘Inclusive Youth Camp’ on the theme ‘Fearless: Faith over fear (1 John 4:18)’ was held from January 5 to 7 at Shokhüvi, Chümoukedima, and was organised by the Gospel Riders Ministry in collaboration with the Living Tree Prayer Tower Ministry.

Participants from various communities and backgrounds attended the camp, according to an update from the organisers, which also mentioned that a total of 91 youths participated in it, including 18 persons with disabilities (PwDs) hailing from different areas of Nagaland.

It stated that diversity was celebrated throughout the camp, fostering an environment in which everyone felt valued and included, and that interactive workshops and team-building activities empowered participants to embrace their unique qualities while appreciating the differences that make a community rich and dynamic.

The camp featured three speakers: Awoto Awomi, convenor, Gospel Riders Ministry; pastor Shunato Sumi of Gilgal Loving Prayer and Healing Camp, Niuland; and Angukabo V Wotsa of Gospel Riders Ministry. Also, there were Hinoli Hesso, Ashe Kiba, and Boto Achumi as resource persons.

The camp also had the presence of renowned artists, such as Abdon Mech, Gihuto Shikhu, Shikatoli N Kiho, Livika Assumi, Kinokali T Aye, and comedian Michael Kez.
