Tethuyo village.
- DIMAPUR — A
three-day in house training on community-based organisation (CBO) for sub executive
committee, model cluster level federation of Longmatra block under Kiphire
district was held from February 18 to the 20th in Tethuyo village.
- The training programme was specifically designed for members
of the sub committee within the CBO, who are part of executive committee (EC)
under MCLF, to equip with necessary skills to effectively manage and implement
the MCLF programme.
- The participants were made to understand the roles and
responsibilities of CBO sub-committee, MCLF structure and governance, financial
management, project planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation,
conflict resolution and consensus building and process of collective analysis
and decision making.
- To serve as an illustrative example for understanding the
vital roles of sub-committee in overall governance, ball games, cloth challenge
game, balloon games were also played during the training.
- On the first day, introductory session and a welcome note
was delivered by Atsope, BPM Longmatra block, while Lotsala, bank Sakhi, said
the invocation prayer.
- The three-day training concluded with feedback and post
training assessment from the participants followed by a vote of thanks
delivered by Horiba, AC-IBCB.
