
KOHIMA — Nagaland Minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, launched the Hyundai Alcazar car on Monday at Vuto Hyundai, Kohima.
Speaking on the occasion, Along said that owning a vehicle is a matter of pride for Nagas, comparing it to welcoming a new member into the family. He expressed that the new vehicle would resonate with these values.
On the occasion, he also urged people to drive responsibly and without aggression, hoping this would help reduce road rage and promote peaceful and enjoyable driving. The minister further emphasised the importance of responsible traffic conduct and driving etiquette.

Manao, team leader at Vuto Hyundai, mentioned that the car is available in a variety of colours and features a 1.5L engine combined with advanced technology. The base price of the Hyundai Alcazar starts at INR 14,99,000 for the petrol variant and INR 15,99,000 for the diesel variant.
