DIMAPUR — The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated light rain and thunderstorms across Nagaland from October 26 to the 28th.
On October 29, isolated places in the state are likely to experience light rain or thunderstorms along with gusty winds and lightning, with wind speeds reaching 40 to 50 kmph, it said.
The intensity is expected to increase on October 30, when many places across Nagaland may witness moderate rain or thunderstorms, along with gusty winds and isolated heavy rainfall.
Elsewhere in the Northeast, the IMD has forecast light to moderate rain or thunderstorms at many or some places, with isolated heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from October 30 to November 1.
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph are expected over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya on October 29 and the 30th.
