Dimapur, April 19 (EMN): To review the preparedness in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North),Maj. Gen. VTS Kaushik visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Changtongya in Mokokchung district on April 19.

The officer visited the isolation ward and interacted with the doctors, nurses, police personnel and SDO (C), a DIPR report stated. He also donated essential requirements for setting up a quarantine facilities towards the CHC. He further assured to construct a public toilet at CHC Changtongya.

The officer was accompanied by Commander of 7 Sector Brig. SK Sheron, CO of 23 AR Mokokchung battalion Col. Raj Kumar Bishnoi, and OC Tuli post Capt. Jephin Jose.

The officer visited Changtongya CHC with the initiative of Imnatiba, advisor of Industries and Commerce, Labour and Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
