[caption id="attachment_257959" align="aligncenter" width="600"] District representatives pose for a photograph during the IDSP quarterly review meeting at IMDH, Mokokchung, on June 27.[/caption] Dimapur, July 1 (EMN): The State quarterly review meeting on Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) was held at the IDSP conference hall, IMDH Mokokchung, on June 27. An update from DPMU, Mokokchung, informed that representatives from all the 11 districts attended the meeting and gave PowerPoint presentations on their activities. IDSP is a decentralised State-based surveillance project in the country to detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective response in a timely manner. Dr. Chubala Aier, CMO Mokokchung, encouraged the participants of the meeting to work with sincerity. She also congratulated and thanked Dr. Nyanthung Kikon, SNO, IDSP, for successfully conducting the State programme in Mokokchung. Dr. Kibangkumba, Deputy CMO, advised the participants to be careful in collation, compilation, and dissemination of data. The programme was attended by Medical Superintendent, DVBO, epidemiologist and data entry operators.
