IDEAL Society organises literary competitions

Kohima, Oct. 2 (EMN): As part of the Poshan Abhiyaan campaign, IDEAL (IW) Charitable Society conducted slogan and poem writing competitions for the students of Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH) on September 28.

The judges of the competitions were Rita Krocha, journalists, poet and publisher, and Alenuo Angami, superintendent of BMSCH.

An update from the Society informed that the competitions were conducted in two categories namely senior and junior category on the topic "Health and Sanitation" and "Local Food."

In the slogan writing competition, the first prize was won by I Hauhyangyola Chang, while the second and third prizes were won by Medongunuo Elizabeth Locü and R Kamsola respectively.

In the poem competition (senior), the first prize was won by Nyimangmongsen Eunice, while the second and third prizes were won by Ekonthung Kikon and Akhonuo Pfüsenuo respectively.

In the junior category, the first prize was won by Maria, while the second and third prizes were won by Chusika Pfithu and Ngomi Fasha respectively.
