Diphu, May 26 (EMN):
Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang on Wednesday inaugurated 12 new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds of Diphu Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in Diphu.

During the inauguration programme, Tuliram Ronghang said that this would greatly boost the treatment facilities for Covid-19 critical patients, along with the recently inaugurated oxygen gas generation plant at DMCH. 

Ronghang also elaborated about the recent meeting held with Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma stating that officials from the Assam government would be sent to DMCH to enquire about the required equipment for DMCH; and installation of oxygen gas generation plant for West Karbi Anglong district would be done soon.

Ronghang was accompanied by KAAC executive members, Amarsing Tisso and Khonsing Rongpi, Dr. Sumitra Hagjer Principal DMCH and others.
