As part of the initiative, vermibags and garden tools were distributed to farmers to encourage vermicomposting and promote the recycling of organic waste into nutrient-rich manure. The programme was attended by Dr. Marneni Divya Sree, Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension), KVK Dimapur; Dr. Chingakham Sima Chanu, Subject Matter Specialist (Home Science), KVK Dimapur; and Dr. Harendra Verma, Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Nagaland Centre.
