Imphal, May 24 (EMN): In an effort to create awareness on educational institutions in National capital, Imphal based central institution- Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) is all set to organise the first ever free counselling and awareness program for admission in under-graduate and post graduate programme for the North East students at its Takyelpat campus near Imphal on May 26.
Manipur Governor Dr Najma Heptulla will inaugurate the free counselling and awareness program for admission in the reputed educational institutions in the National capital. All arrangement has been made in this regard at the IBSD complex.
This was announced by Director Prof Dinabandhu Sahoo of IBSD during a press conference in Imphal this afternoon. “The idea is to tell the students and parents from North East states on what to do or what not to do, where to stay etc during their admission process in Delhi,” says Director Prof Sahoo.
“We’ll be inviting principals of reputed institutions from both north and south campus of Delhi University so that the parents and students can directly to interact each other.” The counseling will start from 10.45 am and it will continue till 5pm of May 26.The registration will start from 10am.Interestingly some of the students have started online registration ( http://ibsd.gov.in/).
