
HTC is set to launch their new flagship smartphone, tentatively named the HTC U23 Pro, on May 18th as confirmed via a recently released teaser advertisement. While the company did not reveal the official name or specifications of the phone, it appears that leaks and rumours suggest that it will boast impressive hardware components.
Based on these sources, the HTC U23 Pro is anticipated to feature a large 6.8" 120Hz AMOLED display with a small cutout for the front camera. Under the hood, the phone will reportedly use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in memory storage. Reports say that the company could launch an 8GB RAM variant as well.

In regards to imaging capabilities, there seems to be a quartet of cameras planned, including a primary shooter sporting 108MP and OIS, along with three secondary sensors: an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a dedicated macro lens at 2MP, and another 2MP lens helping with depth effects. On top of all this, the device will get a generous 32MP front-facing camera for high-quality video chatting and selfies.
Moreover, the handheld will supposedly include a roomy 4,500 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Additionally, we know that the HTC U23 Pro will ship with Android 13 out-of-the-box version. However, no specific features were specified in the article.
