Dimapur, Aug. 1 (EMN): The directorate of Higher Education has launched what updates called a “comprehensive” human resource management information system for the directorate and government colleges. The system was launched on July 31, updates stated.
This system will be a master record of employees of the directorate and government colleges for both teaching and non-teaching staffs, it was informed.
The government publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), issued updates on Thursday informing about the system.
The human resource management information system is envisaged to create a detailed, comprehensive digital database of departmental employee information which can be accessed online through the department’s official website, the IPR stated.
This system will act as the master record of all employees under the directorate of Higher Education and government colleges for both teaching and non-teaching staffs.
Further, the system will provide features such as single repository for departmental human resource information, customized dashboards for departments and colleges; one-click report generation, 24x7 easy access from remote locations etc.
The system will empower the department to be faster and transparent, and have efficient human resource management besides enabling online interactions with the department, the IPR stated.
