Dimapur, June 9: An e-commerce site online furniture store ‘House Sutra’ has opened its first physical outlet at 3rd Mile, near Chekiye village in Dimapur on Saturday.
House Sutra is an omni-channel furniture store that caters unique experience and provides custom-made furniture at affordable prices, with free home delivery services. The Dimapur outlet is co-founded by Ovi K Yeptho.
The company started as a supplier before progressing to manufacturing to have direct control over quality. Its manufacturing unit is in Jaipur. It delivers products to 19 cities with Dimapur being the 20th.
House Sutra is collaborating with local artisans in creating modern designs. It has been incubated by Atal Incubation Centre under the National Institution for Transforming India Aayog (Hindi for policy commission).
Enatoli Sumi, advocate on Record of Standing Council for Nagaland, Supreme Court inaugurated the store.
In her speech, Sumi spoke about the vision for Nagaland that would be led by the young entrepreneurs who are capable in accepting challenges. She also emphasized on the importance of supporting fellow Nagas for economical, ecological, and spiritual growth.
‘If you help a fellow Naga, you are helping yourself. If he or she grows, then you and I will also grow. With that growth (is) a part of development sustenance,’ she said.
