KCCI to issue Hornbill Night Carnival forms from October 22 to 29, giving priority to tribal and local entrepreneurs in Kohima.

DIMAPUR — The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has announced that the issuing of application forms for the annual Hornbill Night Carnival will commence on October 22, with the last date for submission set for October 29.
According to KCCI, this year’s edition will give preference to tribal home-based local entrepreneurs, particularly those dealing in traditional ethnic foods and local cuisines.
It will also promote other local entrepreneurs, self-help groups (SHGs), and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and exorbitant pricing of products will be strictly monitored.

It said that the Hornbill Night Carnival aims to offer a wholesome family experience and to bring a safe and quality nightlife atmosphere to revellers in the capital city. Awards will be presented for the Best Innovative Stall and Best Decorative Building.
