Kohima, Nov. 18 (EMN): Under the aegis of the Nagaland Strongest & Fittest Association (NSFA) the 2nd Hornbill International Strongest & Fittest Man competition and Women Fitness Exhibition Match is all set to be held as part of the Nagaland Hornbill Festival 2018 from Dec. 7-8 at the Amphitheatre, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The event is organised by the NSFA and sponsored by the Department of Tourism.
Secretary, Tourism T. Mhabemo Yanthan, and Akhale Vizol, Addl. Director (HoD) Department of Tourism will attend the events as guest speakers for the following 2-day event.
The champion in the both the categories of Strongest Man and Fittest Man will receive a cash prize of INR 50,000 while the runners-up will receive a sum of INR 20,000. The organisers will come out with Mr. Hornbill 2018 out of the entire contestant where the winner (Mr. Hornbill 2018) will be awarded a sum of INR 10,000.
The strongest event competition will include; Squad life, farmers walk, power stairs, loading race, Naga stone and dead lift. The Fittest Man category event will be marked by snatch, clean & jerk, burpees, one legsquat, dead lift, push up, free squat and box jumping.
A sum of INR 100 shall be realised from all the contestant of both the categories as registration fee. Forms will be available at all local gyms in Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung and Pfutsero.
