Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): The Anglers Association Nagaland (AAN) in association with the Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources and Department of Tourism will be hosting the Hornbill Angling Festival 2018 on Dec. 3 at Tsuza Eryu, Doyang, Wokha (river angling competition) and at Lavi Lake, Dimapur (lake/pond angling competition) on Dec. 7 and 8.
The total prize money to be won this year is INR.3.5 lakhs of which INR 1.5 lakhs is for river angling competition and INR 2 lakhs for lake/pond angling competition, stated an update received here on Wednesday.
A single rod and a maximum of two hooks are allowed for the competition.
Registration is now open with INR 800 as registration fee for river angling competition at Tsuza Eryu, Doyang, Wokha and INR 2000 for lake/pond angling competition at Lavi Lake, Dimapur.
