Dimapur, Jan. 22: A three-day workshop on the theme “Homiletic lab: Skill development in preaching” organised at Clark Theological College (CTC), Aolijen, from January 19 to 21 concluded successfully.
Altogether eight intensive sessions were conducted. The topics addressed during the workshop included “Homiletics: an overview,” “Importance of homiletics,” “Major types of sermons,” “Elements of sermon,” Plots and moves in sermon,” “Text to sermon-homiletic lab,” “Sermon analysis,” and “Practical session of preparation.”
Altogether 73 BD final year students participated in the important workshop. Resource persons were Prof. Alfred Stephen and C Bendangonen Jamir.
The three-day workshop was organised by Clark Communication and Cultural Research Centre (CCCRC) in collaboration with Werner College of Preaching (WCP).
