Dimapur, May 31 (EMN): State government has accorded farewell to retiring officers namely Chonthungo Kikon, secretary of home (prison), and Kehrieselie, secretary (police & political) on May 31 in the office of the home commissioner.
The two retiring officers have served the state government in various capacities during their 35 years of service. The farewell programme was marked by short speeches delivered by Rovilatuo Mor, home secretary (GAB), printing & stationary and NSDMA; SR Saranavan, special secretary of home (police/political); and Ramakrishnan, home commissioner.
The state home commissioner has expressed gratitude to the two outgoing officers for their sincere and dedicated service rendered to the state government and further wished them the best and happy retired life.
The outgoing officers, in their speeches, have thanked the department for organising the programme in their honour. The farewell program was chaired by K Libanthung Lotha, secretary of Home (SAB).
