DIMAPUR, October 5: Holy Cross Higher Secondary School Dimapur, observed school anti-tobacco day on October 5 at school campus by conducting drawing competition for different categories of student as part of the observation. Students also presented speeches and play.
Addressing the students, district nodal officer of National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), Dr. C Tetseo congratulated the school for taking over the ownership of tobacco control measures. He said if 3000 students of Holy Cross School say no to tobacco, it will make a huge impact in the society. He also challenged the students to participate in the ongoing campaign for ‘Smoke Free Dimapur Initiatives’.
Short speech was also delivered by Fr. Philip, Principal of the school and students. Around 3000 students participated in the programme.
