Dimapur, Jan. 18 (EMN): Hollotoli School conducted a workshop on career counselling for the students of Classes X & XII on January 17 with Jitin Chawla, founder and director of centre for career development, Delhi, as the counsellor.
According to a statement from the school, Jitin Chawla emphasised about the challenging traditions of blindly following the footsteps and opinions of parents. He encouraged the students to take up their careers based on their personality and aptitude in sync with their passion and profession.
Chawla made a motivational power point slide presentation about young entrepreneurs to inspire students to work hard and become an asset to humanity. He explained about various courses available for students to take up in their higher studies and gave guidelines for their career choices according to their subject combinations. He further spoke about the benefits of studying abroad with reference to several institutions across the globe.
