Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.perseverance must finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he giant of trails has the power to push us into the pits if we allow him to and we can also bring down these giants if we allow God to work on our behalf. Every hindrance and trail that we encounter will either train us in righteousness or force us to plunge into the valley of death and hell. In our desire to do good, the evil in us will hinder us from doing so. The paths we take will always be filled with glasses and thorns and unless we are armed with whatever is needed we will never be able to reach the top.The struggles that we endure are the hindrances which we have to overcome. In our organization we keep encouraging each other to suffer for the cause of the cross. Even when the going gets tough we make it our ai to never give up even if it causes us our lives. When we concentrate more on our missions than our own comfort, the fruits of our labour always produces the fruits of success, prosperity and satisfaction. However, in our moments of trails if we tend to concentrate more in our problems, rather than focusing on solving our own problems, the forces of frustrations, depressions and failures will become our own enemy. In his book “Facing the Giants “Max Lucado quoted: Focus on Giants-you stumble. Focus on God-your Giants stumbles. The outlines of the quotation should encourage us to focus more on God than our problems.
The hindrances and t rails we face everyday may be different in nature but since we are working for the same purpose our focus should be in building each other up that we may see the best of each other and experience success in all that we do. The emotional pain and turmoil we experience than that of the world because of what our faith is. The suffering and the pain we endure are all part of the struggle of our spiritual life and the outcome of our battles within either makes us a winner or a loser. The fin al outcome f our spiritual success can lead us to greater heights if we falter not. The God who chose us to serve Him is always faithful and He has promised to be with us in all that we do. The more we overcome our trails, the more we will mature in our faith. It is not by what we do that makes us who we are but it is by who we are that makes us what we are. If we are weak willed, we will never be qualified to compete with the best.
We will be empowered to over come the test of trails as long as we keep holding the hands of our savior, but the moment we let go of it we will fall into the pit of uncertainty, frustration and destruction. It was by the act of faith that we received salvation but the certainty of our salvation will be determined by how long we hold on to it. The more matured we are spiritually, the more we will be trusted by God. When we place our trust in God it pleases God and He is even more pleased when He wins our trust. Everything begins with a process and ends with a result. Accepting the truth is the first step to deliverance but holding on to the truth is the first test of faith.
When we are tested we will begin to experience bigger trails but the more we overcome it, the better our rewards will be in heaven. God desires that we be matured and complete that we may not lack anything. God will keep training us in righteousness as long as we allow Him to and the benefits of our trainings will not only guarantee us eternal life but it will also lead us to a height of prominence in the spiritual realm. God has promised to be with us and we dare not doubt His promise. Think of this and act on it. This is just a moment which will become the memories for the future. Continue in your faith. Walk in love. The moments of trails has just begun.
