Academy of Science, Senapati district, Manipur, buzzed with excitement as over
150 students from the Poumai Naga community gathered for a career counselling
event, hosted by the Poumai Naga Officers' Association (PNOA) and Poumai Naga
Tsiidoumai Me (PNTM), on Friday.
- With the theme ‘Navigating your future: Making informed
career choices," the event was all about sparking inspiration and opening
doors to new possibilities, an update stated.
- The attendees were treated to a series of engaging workshops
and dynamic panel discussions featuring successful professionals across diverse
fields—from civil services, medicine, engineering, banking, veterinary
sciences, agriculture, forestry and entrepreneurship.
- Panelists shared their personal journeys, revealing the
secrets to overcoming challenges and achieving success, igniting the crowds'
ambition.
- Hands-on workshops included resume building and interview
tips, arming students with the skills they need to shine. As the event wrapped
up, PNOA Secretary D John Sha, celebrated the association’s commitment to
empowering its youth.
- “With a palpable sense of hope and motivation in the air,
this event marked a significant step towards shaping the leaders and innovators
of tomorrow,” it stated.
- Earlier, PNOA president Duna Duo also addressed the event.
