Highland Dawn Media Nagaland (HDM) has recently started off its weekly broadcast program on Good News Television on June 16 known as ‘North East Cornerstone’.
The program is said to feature some renowned Naga pastors and preachers, evangelism, youth programs, and Naga Christian music from Nagaland and North East India.
Wabang Moa, Director Highland Dawn Media speaking to Eastern Mirror said, ‘we are broadcasting a weekly program on Good News Television, every Friday from 6:30 to 7 pm which is repeated on weekdays’. He said the first episode was broadcast on June 16.
The program can now be watched from all over India on Airtel digital TV on channel number 695, Hathway Cable, Reliance Jio, and all major cable TV networks across India, he informed.
Moa mentioned that the team were a part of the Indian Christian Media Association and that’s how they were giving the opportunity when the new program for Northeast was being introduced to the channel.
The program would give an opportunity for Nagaland to showcase the talent and a channel to reach out beyond Nagaland, he stated.
HDM also informed the local cable TV suppliers that Good News TV is a free to air FTA channel; and the new Nagaland Christian TV program can be accessed and viewed in the following downlink GoodNews TV - Parameters :Satellite / Transponder -IS-17/ LM7CH, 66’E, Band C, Up /Downlink Freq- 6191/ 3966MHz,Symbol Rate – 14.40Msps, FEC - 2/3, Modulation - DVB S2. Pol (receive) – Horizontal.
The new TV program is in addition to the recent weekly Nagamese Christian Radio program broadcast covering Northeast India & Myanmar. The Radio program is being broadcast every Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 5:45 pm Indian time, which is 6:45 pm Myanmar Standard Time (MMT). The program can be heard on Short wave band Frequency: 9685 kHz (31 metres), it informed.
Highland Dawn Media is a Christian media production house based in Kohima. It produces multimedia and TV programs with wholesome values. It aspires to ‘inform, equip, share positive truths, and communicate conviction.’ Its TV programs are seen weekly and telecasts within and outside the Northeast India region.
The Good News Television is owned by Goodnews Channel Group based in Chennai. They have four satellite networks: Subhvaarth (Telugu), Shubhsandesh (Hindi), Nambikkai (Tamil) and now GoodNews Television in English
