(Rejoinder to the propaganda stunt of I.A.S.KK.Sema-15-09-2014)
Here we go again. In as far as ‘I.A.S KK.Sema’ is concerned, (He was not aware that NSCN (IM) was also mandated to alter the name of a person given to him by his parents. How stupid of him!), he considers himself as a ‘N-O-B-O-D-Y’....note that it is in capital letters. He is neither claiming nor trying to champion the NNM. He is just a concerned citizen simply highlighting the common man’s utter inability to continue to bear the cross of NPG’s ‘greed tax’ in the name of Sovereignty on the receiving end of the fence but have been keeping quiet for fear of AK 47 in their hands. He is sincerely concerned that time will run out on the Factions when accountability comes home. He is simply trying to impress upon the NPGs that their “Nagaland for Christ” is a hypocritical, blasphemous sham if Christian “forgiveness” and “reconciliation” is not inclusive in their thinking process for unity and continue to apply it only for extortion. That “National principle” should clearly be sensitised amongst all the Factions and honestly act with “Christian principles” in their hearts in the greater interest of the masses for whom the NNM is all about...the people are the serious stakeholders in all of this, if NSCN (IM) and all the other Factions needs reminding. It is basically pointless trying to teach IAS Sema about the “National Principle” or asking him to take sides because he is not a member of any Factions and it is more relevant a need for the Factions to understand this within their collective kitchens. Further, it is not IAS Sema who is claiming that the issue of “sovereignty” and “integration” has been left out of the political negotiation. Mr. Muivah has been heard by 50,000 souls in the FNR rally held at the Agri Expo venue at Dimapur in February 2011 and has apparently been repeated in other FNR meet as well. The same has also been expressed by GoI Officials in the public domain. So please do not pass this honour to IAS Sema. Clarify it from the horse since it comes from his mouth. Therefore, the moot point is that people have a right and deserve to know what is being negotiated on their behalf minus those two issues...not in an insulting fete accompli mode after it is concluded. It defies the very fabric of a logical progression. All that had been said earlier was certainly not with propaganda stunt intent nor is it now...it was and is just a statement of reality as it pertains and appealing for better senses to prevail.
Finally, this tendency of calling names and accusing anyone and everyone, at a drop of a hat, of a third party influence when truthful issues cause them discomfort, is a sick attitude. Why get psyched and look for shadows where no shadow exists? As for calling I.A.S Sema (thanks for this new name) ignorant...that is your privilege, but only know that he has absolutely no reason to be ‘jealous’ of anything or anyone or any organizations. He is not in competition with anyone. He owes no one anything and no one owes him anything.
If all that was said has been rated as a ‘handiwork of the enemies’ it ought to have been full of applause for the disunity within the NPG ranks, not pleading for unity amongst them. For goodness sake, there must surely be someone who can actually read, understand and write English amongst the cadre. IAS Sema sincerely recommend that they should make an honest effort to understand what has been said with an honest appraisal of the ground realities....read it again please without reading in between the lines and learn to form a fair opinion without being cockeyed. If this is not possible then deploy some fair minded person to explain it to them word by word and sentence by sentence and take a rain check to see whether the full page venom was worth spewing.
Khekiye K. Sema IAS (Rtd)...(sorry for using my own parent given name)
