Health and Family Welfare officials visit CHC Tizit

DIMAPUR — Commissioner and Secretary, department of Health and Family Welfare, Y Kikheto Sema, along with a team of department officers, visited CHC Tizit town on Monday.

Sema lauded the Hans Foundation for utilising their CSR funds for the construction of building and staff quarters for CHC Tizit town.

He instructed the principal director to ensure close coordination and cooperation between the department and companies investing in CSR funding for better delivery mechanisms, an update from DIPR stated. Sema also appreciated Hans Foundation for providing nine mobile medical van units to Mon district for providing health care to the needy people.

The team also visited the sub-centre (Health and Wellness Centre) in Tizit village. Sema appreciated the CHO and staff for maintaining one of the district's best Healthand Wellness centres and made a special request to the Tizit village authorities to donate sufficient and better location sites for the expansion of office and housing facilities, to which the village leaders agreed, it stated.
