Jack appears to have quit tweeting because he’s not a fan of getting trolled. The actor, who plays David Platt in the soap, started receiving abusive messages after he made a tasteless joke about the arson attack on Manchester Dogs’ Home. And when it was recently revealed that he doesn’t bother to see his three-year-old son, the internet turned on him completely. The ITV star pays child maintenance for his three-year-old son Greyson Milewski. But it’s thought that he’s never actually met him, despite being aware the tot suffers with hemiplegia – a condition which can cause paralysis, poor balance and weakness. Greyson was conceived after Jack had a one-night stand with former model Sammy Milewski in 2010, he was proved to be the paternal father following a DNA test. “He portrays himself as a family man, yet he’s able to erase one of his children from his life,” a source told The Sun. When news of the suspected arson attack on Manchester Dogs’ Home started circulating, Jack tweeted: “I have a million hot dog jokes.” When he later learned that 60 dogs were killed in the fire he deleted his original post and said: “I sincerely apologise for any offence I have caused. This was not intended to be a malicious tweet and I didn’t consider the offence it would cause. “At the time I didn’t realise the scale of the tragedy but that doesn’t excuse my behaviour. I now realise how insensitive I have been. “I have made a donation to the MCR dogs home and I’m very sorry for my behaviour.” The 26-year-old had been steadily building up followers thanks to his jokey online presence, he’s even played pranks on Catherine Tyldesley and Michelle Keegan.
