The mind of an individual determines success or failure; the mind is both the cause of success as well as happiness, participants of a motivational event in Dimapur were told. “Proper mind does not only lead a people to success but leads people to experience true happiness,” they were told.
A motivational event called “mind education specialist training” for “leaders” in Nagaland, was hosted by the International Youth Fellowship at Niathu Resort in Dimapur. The event began from January 7 and culminated on the 9th. The resource person for the training was Prof. Hong Ryoul Kim, superintendent of Lincoln Schools in South Korea, and also “international mind education specialist,” a note from the organizers said on Saturday, January 9.
According to the organizers, Professor Hong Ryoul Kim emphasized the importance of having the “right mind in today’s world” and said that “in life the most important things are invisible.”
The press release stated: “And it’s the invisible that support the visible. In other words one can say if success is the fruit, mind is the root. In order to change one’s life and future one should change his mind. The speaker also said that it’s the changed mind that brings changed thoughts and a changed thought brings a changed world.”
He stated further that having a “proper mind does not only lead a people to success but leads people to experience true happiness.” Likewise, the organizers quoted the resource person, “an unhealthy and improper mind creates sadness and misery in the life of the people.”
The organizers informed other activities of the event. After every session of mind education, the participants comprising of leaders from different organizations was divided into groups and presentations were given after they shared and reviewed during the group discussions.
All the participants were able to design and draw the beautiful future of Nagaland into their minds through the mind education. Participants pointed that the youngsters in Nagaland has great talents, skills and potentials, but as a matter of fact many are unable to use those talents wisely due to the improper mind.
“Talents without self-control could be dangerous, it would lead people to destruction. If those talents and skills are properly guided by planting the right mindset, it would not only benefit an individual but would also contribute a lot to the society and making our state a better place to live in,” the press release stated.
“We look forward to the change of society here in Nagaland by those leaders who have the right and healthy mind.”
