
DIMAPUR — The two-week ‘Handloom exhibition’ organised by the Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (NHHDC Ltd.) and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, got underway at Urban Haat, Dimapur, on Friday.
The exhibition (Feb. 16 to the 29th) was inaugurated by managing director of NHHDC Ltd., Dimapur, Vitsutho Nyuthe, an update stated.
All together, 60 participants from Assam and different districts of Nagaland are taking part in the exhibition with varieties of handloom, khadi and handicraft products.
“The main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It is also serve to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans,” the update informed.
