Half-marathon to be held in Kohima on Febuary 17

DIMAPUR —T Lanusenla Longkumer, Administrator of Kohima Municipal Council, announced in a circular that a half-marathon will be held on Saturday, February 17, from Phoolbari to the High School Junction. 

The event aims to ‘activate the city’ and raise awareness for the upcoming Khelo India University Games 2023 (wrestling), which will be held in Kohima from February 22 to 25, a DIPR report stated.

All ward chairmen have been instructed to publicise the upcoming event in their respective wards in order to encourage people to participate. The half-marathon will be flagged off at 6:30 am.
