Dimapur, Jan. 26 (EMN): Greenland Nagaland, a monthly English magazine managed by the Development Authority of Nagaland, was officially released by CM Chang, minister for Environment & Climate Change and Parliamentary Affairs, on January 26 at the Circuit House in Dimapur.
Speaking during a programme marking the release of the magazine, the minister expressed high hopes that the inception of Greenland Nagaland will now play a positive and an important role in promoting both the Naga people and the Naga society. He said that the magazine's ideals should be mainly for the benefit of the people.
In his keynote address, the editor of Greenland Nagaland Dr. Swaraj Mukherjee said that the magazine was a product of work and research that were put in for 16 months to identify and explore areas that demonstrated possibilities for development.
The advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Dr. Neikiesalie Kire also spoke at the event. In his short speech, Kire said that the magazine should bring about a change for all the people. He said every individual should come forward and offer their help in any way because even the smallest thing in bringing change is what matters the most.
